Balance training with BOSU

BOSU was invented in the year 2000 by David Weck and was originally an acronym for ‘Both Sides Up.’ These words are characteristic of the best-known BOSU product: the balance trainer. The design of the balance trainer, which involves a flat side and a convex “half-ball” side, can be used on both the flat and the rounded surfaces for different types of training. The Balance Trainer is suitable for stability exercises and improving balance. It is also possible to train Power Cardio on the products from BOSU. Balance exercises using the balance trainer are now popularly known worldwide. The arrival of the Ballast Ball reaffirmed the countless number of exercises made possible using BOSU products, allowing for continually challenging training sessions .

BOSU Balance Trainer

The BOSU Balance Trainer is the best-known product from BOSU. The Balance Trainer can be used on both its’ sides and is a great training aid when seeking to improve balance, coordination and bodily strength. Various versions of the Balance Trainer are available: the BOSU Balance Trainer PRO Edition is suitable for commercial use by physical therapists, athletes and other professionals. For home users, there is the Home Edition.
